1. Barbeque Lunch
This is a very quick and simple recipe of barbequed Sausages and home-made salad.
For rice salad:
-Boil some rice in a saucepan of water (leftover rice after a curry is ideal and even easier!)
-Drain it and place in a bowl. Mix with chopped tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, sweetcorn (and more if you'd like).
-Dress with a simple sauce of mustard, balsamic vinegar and olive oil!
For the sausages:
-Choose a pack of sausages of your choice (if you can handle the spice, Merguez Sausages are perfect for the barbeque!)
2. Gorno's Tomato Pasta Sauce
This is a recipe for a tomato and sausage pasta sauce. It's very simple and takes about ten minutes to make!
-Fry an onion in olive oil and add sliced sausages (Milano Sausage is best for this because it's coiled and easy to take just as much as you want) and Chopped Pancetta.
-Once browned, add a tin of chopped tomatoes, 500ml vegetable stock and 1 tbsp of tomato puree.
-Bring some water to boil in a saucepan and add the pasta (whatever shape you like).
-Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer until it becomes the consistency that you want.
-Drain the pasta, and serve on a plate with the sauce and a few basil leaves.
